Hi Joanne,
Thank you so much for your response. I am from the State of Hawaii, which is a deeded state. The cost is a little out of my reach at this time, so I am looking to invest outside of my state.
As for assingments, would it be wise to purchase it from a private entity?
Thank you,
Sandy

Hi Sandy,
First of all it would be easier for me to help you if I knew what state you are in. Since you purchased my Basics program, you have my State Guide. You can use my State Guide to find out what goes on in your state and you can even use it to go to the county web sites and get information on tax sales. For help with this look at the training videos that come with the program.
As for your question about what is means when a certificate is ready for assignment. That means it is ready to be sold to another investor. It does not neccessarily mean that is it is ready to be foreclosed.
Happy and Prosperous Investing,
Joanne

Hi Joanne,
I purchased your Tax Lien Basics program and I am having difficulty finding tax liens for sale. I used the website that you provided (Taxsaleslist.com) and every state that lists tax liens, when I contact the county for the list, their response is that they don’t sell any liens, but sell deeds.
With this, I considered purchasing tax liens from a private source (one that has already purchased the liens from counties in bulk), but I do have a question; What do they mean when the certificate is ready for assignment?
